Our Lego Room is an open space where children, supported by qualified teachers, learn through hands-on and exploratory play. We give children a chance to develop their full potential by taking classroom skills to a higher level. Let your children exercise their creativity, problem-solving, and team-working skills with Legos. They will reap the benefits throughout their lives.
In addition to Lego-based activities, children also have the opportunity to build and create in an electronic medium - through the computer game Minecraft. This CAD-based world-building game has many educational applications (which you can read about HERE), and we encourage kids to participate in projects and challenges on our private ArtsROC server.
Children will have homework time and a healthy snack, as well as the option to participate in our bi-weekly LEGO and Computer clubs. They can also receive a weekly 30 minute private music lesson (piano, voice, violin, guitar, bass, or drums). Kids who take music lessons at ArtsROC can also participate in KidzROC - our rock band by kids, for kids, which meets Fridays during After-School. In combination with our innovative Lego Education program, these additional opportunities make your child's experience unique, fun, and worthwhile!
Schedule:
Monday & Wednesday: LEGO Club
Tuesday & Thursday: Computer Club
Friday: KidsROC
Private music lessons scheduled on an individual basis
